Lighting Facts Label

LED Lighting Facts is a voluntary program sponsored by the US Department of Energy (DOE) aimed at identifying LED products from manufacturers who commit to testing and reporting on their products in accordance with relevant industry standards. The benefits of this program are recognized by Energy Efficiency Sponsor Partners (typically public utilities and Energy Efficiency Program Sponsors), manufacturers, consumers, lighting professionals, testing laboratories and distributors. Registering for this program requires the acceptance of a general pledge vowing to support improvement in the quality of LED products and other partner type specific pledges.

The Lighting Facts Label consists of 5 mandatory performance metrics:

Light Output (Lumens)

Lumens per Watt (Efficacy)

Watts (Measured Power)

Color Rendering Index (CRI)

Correlated Color Temperature (CCT)
